Warangelic This band really went silent for five years only to pick up where they left off; that is to say, release an equally powerful EP as with the first album. Beautiful execution all throughout. Favorite track: Suffering.
Darknight

Darknight Fabulous three tracks of blackened death metal that leans towards the classical but also flipping shreds those progressive riffs that you may find in bands like Demiurge, Ulcerate and Aseitas. Favorite track: Suffering.
DeathMetalMama

DeathMetalMama This hit me hard as I continue to grieve my younger sibling. He studied the stoics and would have loved this as much as I do. Those classical shreds are so well placed, make me cry why don't you Favorite track: Perseverance.

Failure 04:22
Oh you most Fucking pathetic Wretched waste Of flesh and breath Sniveling Blithering Self empathetic Wallowing, Whimpering Begging for death Are you to tell me these consequences Are resultant of anyone Other than you Oh foolish, hopeless, Most naive of infants Solely responsible for The misery you suffer through Has not the embarrassment you've wrought been sufficient Seemingly addicted Determined, committed To forget the lessons that you've been taught For striving beyond your inherent lot What is my purpose Your purpose has and always will be to fail You can carve out your skull Reduce your bones into sand Yet ne'er will you achieve Never will you succeed The days will waste by In futility You'll count every second loathe towards anything Save to pick away at The stitching of your consciousness Yearning for the embrace Of eternal nothingness

Suffering 04:36
Tear me open Carve out my soul Break these bones upon the rocks As waves to a shore As in suffering I learn that I am nothing Would the hands of fate Grant that I cease to yearn forevermore

Perseverance 07:20
Lift your head Rise stand And Demonstrate you refuse to let this mark your end Surely have you languished Surely fate has cursed you in cruelty Crumpled, shedding tears of blood Hollowed of your humanity Though Surely someday you will perish Today is not that day For is it not reason enough to endure to spite what seeks to break your spirit And if you cannot stand On hand and knees Then you must crawl However broken, bloodied Drag your soul from this wretched pit of hell In weariness in weakness Through suffering through sorrow Though you might falter though you might fail Betrayal poison your heart and crack your soul You must endure The weeping, gnashing, lashing of flesh Crat'ring of well being verging on death Tragedy hack your legs from beneath you Loved ones will run you through Yet onward, still must you press As force serves to temper As fire serves to purify Your fractured soul reforged with gold As surely from ashes will new life Rise Rise Rise, Stand You must not break Though you might bend There is growth in failure Beauty even in midst of misery Thus I implore of thee Let each behold the fullest measure of your capability Let chaos strike and empires crumble Failure raze and suffering humble Let each hearken unto my decree I defy your efforts for you will not break me

about

"There is but one fundamental question of philosophy; judging whether life is, or is not worth living. All the rest comes afterwards."

If existence is an endless struggle, and joy is fleeting, is life truly worth living? Such is the question that many great thinkers have sought to answer throughout the course of history. The Greeks exemplified this in their “Myth of Sisyphus”, where a morally corrupt ruler was punished to labor a boulder to the summit of a mountain, from which it would fall back to the base and the labor would resume in an infinite cycle. This has resonated through time as an allegory for the cycle of personal struggle and the nature of the human condition.

The philosopher Albert Camus compared the punishment to humanity’s futile search for meaning and truth in an ultimately meaningless and indifferent universe. In one of his most famous quotes, Camus challenges the reader that “the fundamental question of philosophy is to answer whether life is or is not worth living.” But Camus doesn’t provoke in an act of cynicism, or even nihilism; Rather, that if one persists in the face of life’s suffering, as is the enduring nature of the human spirit, that there is a reason, a meaning beyond base survival instincts that compels one as an individual to meet life’s infinite labor; That in embracing, even standing defiant in the face of the inherent meaningless of the universe, one has the opportunity to understand their reason to persevere, to struggle forward, and to overcome.

Thus, Orator presents “The Burden of Existence.”
