As those who ruled by whim mass ignorance and hysteria
Rather than reason
Judge on impulse or prejudice
In flagrant inconsistency
Blind to criticism

Ever eager to point the finger
Than believe they've been deceived
Is one not more than
The collective lump sum of our forebearer’s negligence

But still choose to squabble
Over pettiness and grievances


I wont waste my days in self loathing

Of self serving conventions
And near sighted immediate gain

For where is the line between necessity and excess
Guard your head your heart your impulses
Are your idols truly worth idolatry

I say wealth as a virtue is worthy of naught but scorn
As if greed is due of admiration
To which all should aspire
Rather than utmost contempt

Owing their power to wealth
In the interest of maintaining control
Rulers will surely substitute
Liberty with exploitation

As if any existing order
Could ensure stability for the individual
All are founded on the desire for power
Corrupting those who in a

Succumb to belligerence
Corroding their minds

Know you not that true power is of your possession
That those who’d lead us to believe we are subject fear us
Only when fragmented are we truly helpless and suppliant to those that would
Place this yoke of necessity on our shoulders; that when unified can never be broken

The time is now; responsibility to the responsible I say
For preying upon impulse to create this legacy of dysentery
Let us then condemn to a justice slow and torturous
To suffer the pains of all they've inflicted and when they've paid their penance

To be cast from the heights
Of their monuments
